PSAD Garage featuring a Triumph TR8 and Porsche 914s

Our Philosophy: Drive Your Classics.

At Performance Solutions & Development (PSAD), we specialize in affordable classic cars that are meant to be enjoyed on the road.

The Problem with "Perfect"
Most of us dream of a flawlessly restored classic. But paying top dollar for a showpiece comes with a catch: driving it becomes stressful. You end up leaving it in the garage, terrified of that inevitable first rock chip or parking lot scratch.

The PSAD Alternative
We do things differently. We find and sell cars that are in driver-quality shape and mechanically sound—without the show-car price tag.

You get to buy a classic that doesn't break the bank, enjoy it on the road without the anxiety, and slowly turn wrenches to make it uniquely yours over time.

My Life in the Car Business
I’ve spent most of my life in the automotive industry. Here’s a quick summary of the road that led to PSAD.

From the GM Training Center to the Service Bay
Back in high school, I was usually under my car trying to get it running—often missing out on Saturday night fun. Auto shop was a natural fit, and I was one of two students in my class awarded a scholarship to the GM Training Center to become a certified auto technician.

My first job was as a lot porter at an Oldsmobile–Subaru dealership. Within six months, I was promoted to Subaru technician, replacing the only tech they had. (He was caught trying to true-up brake rotors with a metal file—on a hoist—with the engine running. I kid you not.) I spent the late ’70s wrenching and building up my toolbox off the Snap-on truck, but eventually realized I enjoyed restoring my own cars more than repairing other people’s.

Parts, Sales, and the Early Internet
I transitioned into parts and then into sales, which became my primary career. In the early ’90s, I actually built the dealership’s first website. I built sites for several other dealerships before getting pulled back into management, working my way up to General Sales Manager.

The Passion That Drives PSAD
Even while managing dealerships, I never lost my passion for older cars. I’ve always kept a classic in my garage. After decades in the industry, there’s very little that surprises me anymore. Because of that background, I’m always happy to help—whether you have questions about buying, selling, or anything else related to cars.
